Linear

Linear  is  an  audiovisual  composition  that  contains  several  planes  of motion:  the gradual  shift  from  black  and  white  to  color,  the  use  of  shapes with  sharply defined lines  to  those  without,  and  from  the  sounds  of  pure wave  oscillators  to  more complex  waveforms.  Click here for the source code.

Capturing the Ballet of Still Lights

While capturing a photograph a rain-soaked window one night at an Irish bar in Green Bay I noticed that my shaking hands wouldn’t allow me to get a clear picture of what I was seeing:  Car headlights and neon signs against the water and stained glass suddenly became a ballet of these seemingly still lights in my lens.  The music, composed after the pictures were processed to video, creates a subtle choreography between sound and image.
