Slow Burn is a long-form meditative work for one or more electronic instruments. It seeks to create a sound world filled with drones, subtly colliding waveforms, and quiet glitch textures. The work beings with high pitched sounds at a tempo that is clocked from the performers internal heart rate. the audience is invited to breathe in and out in accordance with these pulses, or quietly breathe and enjoy the ambient space over the piece’s long duration.
